Summer Camps & Programs – Thanks!
A special thanks to all those who attended our Game Ready camps and programs this summer! We were proud to be a part of camps offered by our partners, Pacific Sport, Surrey schools, Washington Kids Foundation & the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. We continue to work with like minded organizations and groups that enable us to impact children and youth positively through sports and physical activity. We could not do it without the amazing job done by our coaches, they are simply the best.

Cloverdale Afterschool Program
Tuesday and Friday from 2:30 to 5:30 all school year long!

With an emphasis on mindfulness, this program is directed towards developing all children into strong individuals both mentally & physically. Children in this program will participate in interactive activities, crafts, discussions, group projects, independent projects, and field trips to further explore our local community.

In the classroom we will:
⁃  dive into topics that challenge children to think abstractly about the world around us and the important role each one of us has to contribute to a greater whole.
⁃    engage in activities that remove self limiting beliefs and mental barriers hindering their drive to become the best that they can be.
⁃    discuss & choose healthy choices, for our minds, our bodies, and our environment
⁃    explore the importance of diversity and uniqueness while acknowledging and celebrating each individual’s strengths and areas of improvement.

On the field we will:
⁃   emphasize perseverance and pushing ourselves beyond our perceived limitations.
⁃   experience team work and how to maximize our varying strengths to succeed together.
⁃   engage in goal setting and what it means to hold ourselves accountable in order to achieve our goals.

Ultimately this program is designed to give children a safe place for self discovery and become part of a healthy empowering environment and mini community!

We look forward to seeing you all!

The Washington Kids Foundation has reached over 15,000 youth and with the commitment and dedication of the WKF team and the support of its partners, we will continue to alleviate barriers giving all youth the opportunity to succeed.

WKF North Vancouver continues to work with the North Vancouver School District (NVSD). We have served over 300 students and 9 different school in our daytime programs. The ongoing support and funding identifies the importance of the program in helping each child reach their goals.
We look to finishing the school year strong and forward to a busy summer day camp.

Coach Dino’s Recruiting Academy serves to help student-athletes, parents, teachers and counsellors navigate through the increasingly competitive and confusing world of university athletic recruiting. Appreciating the process and the opportunity are key in achieving the best university fit. “There are lots of options, which one is right for you.” As a student-athlete goes through the recruiting process they will develop so many characteristics that will serve to be useful in all areas of their life for the rest of their lives.

The ultimate resource for student-athletes:
-Student-athlete Recruiting Academy workbook
-Recruiting Academy Journal
-NCAA Guide for College bound student-athletes
