Thank you PTO
The sandwiches, soups and deserts that you brought in on Thursday for the teachers were delicious. After all you do for the school already, please accept our heartfelt gratitude for the meal.

DayCare/LatchKey
Our DayCare and LatchKey enrollment is nearly at its limit. Some days we are at maximum capacity. Therefore, I strongly encourage you to reserve your spot as early in advance as possible. Additionally, although we have perhaps the lowest rates in the area, we charge $1/hr more for unannounced drop-ins. Please let us know if have to cancel your scheduled time in DayCare or LatchKey, so we don't have to turn others away.
Middle School Service
Soon it will be October and many middle school service projects will begin. Our first project for the year will be sock babies for the NICU in Iowa City. Sock dolls are given to new parents to use to comfort their babies if they are too little or sick and can not go home yet. The Mom, Dad or caregiver can place the doll inside their clothing, close to the skin and the doll will soak up their scent. The next time they visit the baby, the doll is placed near the baby to snuggle and/or prop towards and the baby will feel the comfort and smell of their loved one. Please help us in this effort to provide comfort to NICU babies by donating toddler socks size 12-24 months size. If you are able to donated more then one pair, it would help us to provide cuddles to more then one NICU unit in surrounding areas too.
