Open Studios at the Tannery

The Open Studios Art Tour takes place the first three weekends in October. This year there are ten Tannery artists participating, so be sure to include the seven studios at Tannery Arts Center on your art adventure, and also three Tannery residents who are showing off-site. Pick up a guide where you find the Good Times, or download the free app – we’ll see you here!

Santa Cruz Film Festival

The Santa Cruz Film Festival returns to the Tannery Arts Center, with over 100 films from around the world. Catch a premiere, see work by local filmmakers, sit in on a panel discussion, and become an expert! All films shown at venues on the Tannery campus, October 3-7. See the festival program here.

October 5  – First Friday Art Tour! 6-9pm. Free!

October 12 - Indexical presents furniture Daniel + Robert Schwartz. Radius Gallery. 8-9pm. $10-15.

October 13 – Tannery Talks: a Diaspora Performance Project. Free talk back session in conjunction with the TWDCC World Arts Festival. Colligan Theater. 5pm. Free!


October 13-14 – Open Studios at the Tannery. Seven Tannery artists. 11am-5pm. Free!

October 13-14  –  TWDCC World Arts Festival. Tannery World Dance Center studios, Colligan Theater performance Saturday night.


October 19 – Imagine Peace Now, opening reception. Radius Gallery. 6-8pm.

October 20 – Card Workshop with Lynne Simpson, Printmakers at the Gallery (PATT) #107. 9am-12pm. $20.

Every Thursday: Animal Art - classes for kids 5-15 yrs. This is a scientific drawing and environmental science class where students draw animals and their habitats from around the world. Watershed Art Studio #116. 4-5:30pm. $10 drop in. lindacover.org
