Youth Happenings- October 2nd

The High School Fall Retreat at Bonclarken was a great weekend of fellowship, fun and learning about the Lord and His Word. Our students for the weekend was: Anne Kiser, Emma Harper, MeiRose Barnette, Lainey Nowicki, Olivia Grace Lawrence, Elliott Smith, and Miller Leach. We studied the book of Proverbs taught by Matt Carr of Back Creek ARP Church and attended seminars on Islam, Anxiety and Love. It was an amazing weekend and we’re so thankful to all of the students who attended!

Youth Group TOMORROW!

This Wednesday Night, October 3rd, Youth Group is back at 6:15 pm on the Youth Floor --- We'll have music, game(s), fellowship and continue our series on the Sermon on the Mount (#Beatitudes)! If you need a ride or a boxed meal if you can't make dinner (beginning at 5:30 pm) please let Luke know!

Discipleship Groups began last month but because of the Hurricane and rescheduling a few other Church events we had to cancel one week! Our Middle School Girls will meet this Sunday, October 7th at the Church! High school groups will meet during the week next week.
If Luke or your Discipleship Group leader does not have phone numbers for students & parents please make sure that we do so that we can communicate as best as possible! (Please note that we are trying to figure out the best schedule for all of our students and it may take a few sessions to smooth that out!)

Middle School Fall Retreat

Date: November 2nd-4th at Bonclarken. Our speaker will be Pastor Brad Anderson, and the topic will be Ecclesiastes. Registration packets have been mailed out and can be downloaded by clicking HERE--- the deadline to register is October 18th!

Sunday School This Week:

We'll continue our study "The Story Begins" in Genesis during our Sunday School hour. Please take advantage of this opportunity for Bible instruction and fellowship! Teachers Cole McKinney & David Rankin are excited to continue in this new quarte!
