The leadership at True Impact Ministries would like to start out by thanking you for all you have done for the children you sponsor through our organization. We have a few changes to our sponsorship model we want to tell you about. You are also going to be the first to find out details about new sponsorship opportunities we are offering. True Impact has been working with sponsorship donors like yourself since 2009. In that time, we have not increased our monthly donor amounts. During that same time, our expenses related to tuition, food, clothing and supplies have increased. We are inviting you to join with us by increasing your monthly commitment. Donors to children at Salem, Maranatha, Hoffman Home and the Immanuel Home are invited to increase giving to $100 per month for a full sponsorship and $50 for a shared sponsorship. Donors to children at Truth Christian School (Formerly Calvary via Sunlight) are invited to increase giving to $50 per month for a full sponsorship.

If you have your giving set up through your bank’s bill-pay system, you will need to log into your bank account online to make the changes.
We want to make sure you know that this change to our sponsorship model is voluntary on your part. The leadership team here at True Impact is doing everything we can to keep our costs down. We understand that some will not be able to increase their giving at this time and want you to know we desire your support, as you are able, in continuing helping children like those in the picture below.

In order to better serve the children in Uganda, we have updated our sponsorship model to add a wide variety of opportunities for you and others to join us in our effort to raise up the children into responsible members of the Ugandan society. One more thing to talk about is our newest school, Truth Christian School. True Impact Ministries purchased this school in 2017. Since then, we have updated and painted the buildings and built a new latrine. We brought in new staff and new Christian pastors. This past summer we built a new girls dormitory with a security wall around it. Beginning with the next school term that starts in February, we will be bringing in more students who seek an excellent, Christian-based education. We will work to fill up the new dorm with children from families who can provide full payment for their child's education and boarding. Our goal is for this school and the adjacent farm land to become self-sufficient.
While great things are happening there, we need help. It will take three to four years for this school to become self-sufficient. During that time, we need to support the school by paying the expenses that will eventually be paid for by tuition and boarding fees from paying students. Please consider either adding a full- or half-class sponsorship or making a one-time donation for Truth Christian school. Please also share this news with your friends and family.
