With diabetes fast becoming the biggest health threat in the UK, you are invited to attend a special roadshow event taking place at Charter Square, Bury St Edmunds (outside the Apex) this week from Thursday 4 – Saturday 6 October.
Everyone is welcome to drop by and speak with health professionals from the adult diabetes service at West Suffolk Hospital and the NHS West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group. The roadshow aims to help raise diabetes awareness and the importance of attending diabetes structured education as an integral part of diabetes self-care.
If you are living with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes you will be able to learn more about the free local NHS courses that you can sign up to so that you can best manage your condition. The courses are run by specialist diabetes nurses and dieticians and give people the skills and confidence to live well with diabetes.
