National Women's Enterprise Day
"From Local to Global"
National Women’s Enterprise Day strives to encourage even more women to set up their own businesses and to increase national recognition of the essential role played by Ireland’s female entrepreneurs.
This event will consist of a variety of developmental support actions, including inspiring speakers, shared experience, group discussion, information provision, exhibition of state supports for enterprise and facilitated business brokerage.
This year's event will use examples from the Fashion and Textile industry under the theme 'Local to Global'.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

“Fashion is a fun and vibrant business, however, that’s exactly what it is – a business." Jenny has been working in the fashion industry for over twenty five years. Her business Fashion Enter strives to be a centre of excellence for sampling, grading, production and for learning and development of skills within the fashion and textiles industry.
Award winning designer Heidi Higgins graduated from NCAD in 2008. Just under one year later she proudly introduced her own label to the Irish market in May 2009. The labels motto represents the “Heidi” look perfectly- “elegance with a twist”.
In 2015, Larissa founded Ireland’s first online accounting website – www.accountantonline.ie Larissa will share insight of her personal business journey, while highlighting key factors that small business owners should consider as they look to go global.
