The Goodyear Innovation Challenge is a business design and innovation competition sponsored by Goodyear in collaboration with the Weatherhead School of Management. Master's degree students from across the United States are invited to unleash their creativity while addressing real-world business challenges. The top five teams will compete for prize money in a hackathon at think[box], and an opportunity to work alongside team members from the Goodyear Innovation Labs.

Last fall, Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) partnered with university trustee and venture capitalist Bob Pavey, JumpStart and the Morgenthaler family to launch the Morgenthaler-Pavey Startup Competition.
Designed to identify and support high-potential startups coming out of CWRU, the annual competition is currently seeking applications from ventures whose founding teams include at least one currently enrolled CWRU student or an alumnus who has graduated within the last five years.

Blockland Solutions Conference: Real-World Problem Solving

Cleveland is Building a Blockchain Technology Ecosystem. The Blockland initiative exists to educate and promote real-world blockchain applications, while establishing and leading a blockchain ecosystem with support from private, public and philanthropic individuals and organizations.
The CWRU LaunchNet is recruiting to fill two paid internships for the 2018-19 school year. One intern will be responsible for marketing, communications, and event management. Writing and other content creation for websites and social media is an important part of this position. Additionally, we are recruiting a design-graphics intern, to assist with the website, social media, and other communications and promotions. If you have related skill, and experience, and have 10 hours (more or less!) a week available, please connect with Victoria Avi.
