Church Council Nominations
We only need one more signature to make our Federated Document official! The Diocesan Council will consider it tomorrow morning. Thanks be to God! The Vestry and Council have set the Congregational Meeting for Sunday, November 4 at 9:15am in Hart Hall. Brunch will be served. We will make the formal call of our pastor, elect the new Church Council and consider the 2019 Budget. (Next week you will be receiving pledge cards in the mail...)
 Do you have gifts to serve on this new combined governing body of our church? Per our new Bylaws, the Nominating Committee will present a slate to the Vestry / Council at their meeting on October 22 and then share the candidates with the congregation. If you would like to be considered for one of these 9 leadership positions, please contact Justin Dowding, chair of the Nominating Committee at gdowding@gmail.com. Or speak to one of the other members of the Nominating Committee if you want to know more about what the responsibilities are. Members are Sue Fowler, Doris Meads, Dick Perry and Justin Dowding.
Forum on Faith
World Religions Study Based on feedback from several planning groups this summer, Pastor Don has organized a five-week study on World Religions to be held during the Forum on Faith. Sunday at 9:15am in Hart Hall. We always have more to learn.

Hello Beautiful Yogis!
I am writing to let you know, in case you haven’t already heard, we have opened a new Wellness Center on the second floor of the building adjacent to the church. The Cedarcroft Center includes a beautiful, welcoming space to practice yoga. Our new yoga studio gives us the opportunity to offer you more community priced yoga classes. I have brought on a new wonderful teacher, Carrie Haine, who many of you have already met. We have the shared interest of providing quality instruction, with a focus on self-love. We invite you to join us during any of our classes throughout the week. Give yourself the care that you deserve.
