Blessing of the Animals…Rev. Steven Renner will hold the Blessing of the Animals at the 5:30 p.m. worship service on Saturday, October 6. All pets are welcome to attend for a special blessing.


Hurricane Florence…if you would like to contribute to a relief fund for victims of Hurricane Florence you may do so through ERD, Episcopal Relief & Development, Bishop White’s discretionary fund. You can donate through St. Mark’s; please indicate on your check’s memo line that is for hurricane relief.  If you have any questions, please check with the church office. 


The ECW will host Elizabeth Chandler, Development Manager of Waterfront Botanical Gardens at the October 9, meeting. Ms. Chandler will speak to the development’s vision in creating a botanical garden that inspires people to enjoy the plants and nature of Louisville. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Please bring a bag lunch; drinks and desserts will be provided.  Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting. 

 The Stewardship Committee will begin St. Mark’s annual giving campaign. We will be contacting members, followed by mailing your pledge cards. We hope to complete the pledging period by the end of October. We ask you prayerfully consider your giving to the Church. If you need to update or change contact the church office.

 Faith Sharing Dinner… Sharing our faith story provides a welcoming and safe way to engage one another, articulate our faith and build relationships. Please call the church office if you would like to host, attend a party or if you have any questions about the dinners.



Mark your calendars… Halloween  is just around  the corner. St. Mark’s is hosting trunk or treat in the parking lot followed by an All Hallows Eve service. Don a costume, decorate your car and enjoy Halloween with fellow parishioners.
