This meeting hs been called to inform the community about the consequences of the State Government's Public Housing Renewal Program, which involves the demolition and sale of nine inner city public housing estates.

BRUNSWICK PEACE FORUM
Tuesday 9 October at the Alderman Bar in Lygon Street East Brunswick,
gather from 6pm for 7pm forum.
The Australian Living Peace Museum is organising a Peace Forum. The purpose is to bring together activists and residents with the aim of building support for peace activism in the city. Peace is defined in both a global and local sense; for example the spectrum from opposition to investment in military hardware through domestic violence, racism and homophobia.
- Major speakers include Professor Richard Tanter from Nobel Peace Prize winner, ICAN Australia.
- Local Greens, ALP and Socialist candidates in the Victorian State Elections will come to respond to issues raised by participants.
