Gleaning alert! 
Volunteers needed!  

Howdy awesome gleaning volunteers! 

We have two gleans happening this week:

Monday morning kale in Lee:  9am.  We need 3-4 volunteers (older children and teens welcome) to help us harvest kale that is being donated to.... schools!  There are 5 schools in the Seacoast (elementary, middle, AND high school) that have called dibs on the kale and we are so thrilled that the cafeterias will be able to use if!  

Friday morning apple drop glean in Farmington: 9:30am.  We need 4-5 volunteers (all ages welcome) to help us pick up apples to be donated to schools as well as local food pantries.  Even small children are able to help with this one!  

Not available Monday or Friday but still interested in local gleaning efforts?  You can register as a gleaning volunteer on NHGleans.org to stay in the know about future gleaning opportunities.  Also, head over to NH Gleans on Facebook to see pictures of gleans and all the amazing local farm produce we've been able to donate to Rockingham and Strafford County schools, food pantries, and soup kitchens!
