NTTDS will be electing new officers in December, and we need dancers to fill these posts:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Coordinator, Newsletter Editor, and Historian.
The term of office is one calendar year.
The duties are pretty much what you would expect, except for the special duty that the Vice President is in charge of finding volunteers for each dance. We do have an online signup to make that easier. It is best if the Treasurer has some experience with bookkeeping or finance. The President should have some previous experience and history with the group or a similar organization.
These are of course all volunteer positions, with no pay. It is not a huge time commitment. We usually have just a few meetings each year.
If you have enjoyed dancing with us, this is a great way to show your appreciation and to give back to the organization and help it continue in its mission of promoting dance and community.
