paintings: megan thomas | the little gallery

Omaha native Megan Thomas will showcase her paintings during the month of October at the little gallery in downtown Benson. An opening reception is set for Friday, Oct. 5, from 6:00 to 9:00pm in conjunction with Benson First Friday. The event is free and open to the public.

The exhibit runs through Oct. 27. Gallery hours are:

Tuesday-Friday
3pm to 6pm

Saturday
10am to 1pm

meet our new intern

Welcome Emily Noe, the little gallery's new intern. A native of Benson, Emily is also an artist. She's currently a graduate student at the University of Oklahoma, where she's pursuing her master's in museum studies. Get to know her below.

"I'm striving to find my niche in the Omaha/Benson art community through art-related professions and the exposure of my art in shows. I am married to my college sweetheart. We love living in the Benson community! We are an active duty USAF family and hope to stay in this region as long as possible.

"I am a big animal lover! I have quite a large furry family with a good handful of cats and dogs and one adorable bunny named Henry who I wish I could take with me everywhere! The art I create focuses mainly on non-objectional plaster painting, large scale geometric painting and narrative charcoal drawings of interesting observations."
