Beginner-Friendly Gentle Yoga with Sasha Rivera
Six Wednesdays, October 3rd through November
7th, 10:15 am, at Town Hall
Join
us for this an introductory, slow and gentle yoga class. The
class is geared towards
those who need a very gentle, accessible yoga practice, including
seniors and people with physical challenges. We will focus on breath awareness,
supported standing and seated poses using chairs, and we will avoid getting
down on the floor. If you are injured or experiencing illness, check with your
doctor to see if such a class would be right for you.
This class is in addition to our weekly gentle yoga class on Wednesdays at 9 am.
Line Dance with Pat Barshenski
Thursdays, October 4th through
November 15th, 7 pm, Shutesbury Athletic Club
Free, fun weekly line dance classes! No partner required. Polish up your
dancing shoes and join us!

Turkey Dinner
Friday, October 12th, 6 pm, Shutesbury Athletic Club.
The Friends of the Library will be serving a delicious homemade Turkey Dinner. The menu includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, a veggie, cranberry sauce and dessert.
Suggested donation, $10 adults, $5 for children 12 and under.
A benefit for the Friends of the M.N. Spear Memorial Library.
Natural Plant Dyeing Workshop with local Artist, Ziporah Hildebrandt
Saturday, October 13th, 10 am - 12:30 pm, Town Hall
Learn a traditional Japanese dyeing technique called Shibori. Using dyes made from garden plants, participants will create their own hand-dyed silk scarf.
Ages 16 and up.
