LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Dear Bishop Kelley Community,

The nip in the air is a sure sign that Fall is upon us! I must admit, Fall is my favorite time of the year. As the earth moves towards the dormant winter through shorter days, colder weather and the dying off of this year's vegetation, most of us become a bit more reflective and attentive to the relationships that surround us. Couched in this season of reflection, the Bishop Kelley Community is excited to host our first Lasallian Founder's Awards Banquet on October 11 at 6:15 pm. This banquet will allow us to celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni and their amazing contributions to the Church and the wider world.

Have you ever reflected on the matrix of relationships and the powerful impact the Bishop Kelley alumni have on society? Since the founding of the school in 1960, some 10,500 alumni have graduated from BK and are now some of the leading parents, day laborers, health care providers, lawyers, actors and actresses, politicians and much more serving in thousands of communities around the world. This impact is something to be thankful for and celebrate with great pride and enthusiasm.

And so, as we begin to slow down with the seasonal change, I would encourage you to consider coming to the banquet as a member of the Bishop Kelley Family as we reflect and give thanks for the impact these four individuals have made in their respective places in life. See the information below to get your table or ticket today.

In Christ,

Rev. Gary Kastl
President
