Pouring Demo!

Save the date!
Layor is having free acrylic pouring demos of this exciting Abstract technique! 

Phil Carlin will be demonstrating Acrylic Pouring on Friday, October 7th during First Friday Art Walk, and Saturday, October 8th, from 12-3pm!

Daniel Smith Iridescent Watercolors

These paints are wonderful for painting special effects found in nature, etc. Nature has optical surprises in various colors that you see in feathers, seashells, down to the pearly sheen that often illuminates flower petals. Consider these useful for anything that has a glow or sparkle, clouds aglow at sunset, or water reflections! Luminescent watercolors also show beautifully as glazes over darker colors and create a sense of depth/ sheen that changes with the angle of reflection. There are 4 types in total of this specific range of colors :: Reflection, Interfence, Duochrome, & Pearlescent all providing a unique effect in terms of light interaction!!


Hiker Booty Central Oregon Maps
HikerBooty LLC is a collaborative group of artists, and avid hikers. Together they have put together unique watercolors and illustrations that best portray some of America's National Scenic Trails and Oregon's Public Lands. 
Their goal is draw people to the outdoors, encourage those to protect your resources and to support your parks!
