Cakes and biscuits were sold at Stapleford Abbotts Primary Academy when the school held a 'Story Cafe' to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Head of School Sharon Simpson said: "As an Academy we spent time with each other sharing our favourite books whilst eating sumptuous cakes to raise money.
"Congratulations and a big shout out to all parents/carers, children and staff who contributed cakes and biscuits to sell."
The school's efforts raised £183.50.
Bethan Williams, Lead of Key Stage One, said: "Parents and children enjoyed eating cakes and sharing valuable time together."
Higher Level Teaching Assistant Tracey Beaumont said: "It was fantastic that so many families supported the cause."
Office Assistant Tracey Deane said: "The cakes I bought looked amazing, my girls loved them!"
