Richard Partington, Senior Tutor Churchill College

Our remarkable success story

Churchill is a remarkable place in many ways: outward looking, modern, open, it has always enjoyed a more relaxed atmosphere than many other colleges and is widely known to have one of the highest proportions of undergraduate entrants from the state sector amongst Oxbridge colleges. We also have a significant number of students from extremely challenging financial backgrounds and these students thrive here.

Senior Tutor Richard Partington explains how sustaining the remarkable success story of undergraduates from the most challenging backgrounds is now a major priority.
