Session Documents - all UN languages

The CFS 45 Session Documents are available in all UN languages. Once again the CFS session is Papersmart - all documents are available electronically. A Print on Demand service is available during CFS week for those who need paper copies. Find out more on the CFS 45 web page 

Coming up after #CFS45

As part of the Urbanization and Rural Transformation Workstream, CFS will hold an event on 19 November 2018 in FAO and via webcast called The Food Security and Nutritional Impacts of Urbanization and Rural Transformation on Lower Income Groups. Discussions will focus on the root causes of food insecurity and malnutrition across the rural-urban continuum and on how these challenges are being met. Find out more on the CFS website or sign up to follow the meetings.  
Following endorsement of the Terms of Reference at CFS 45, work will start on developing the CFS Voluntary Guidelines on Food Systems and Nutrition. This will be an inclusive process where all relevant CFS stakeholders actively participate. Sign up to follow the Nutrition Open Ended Working Group here

In 2019 CFS will again contribute to the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) in New York highlighting key messages drawn from CFS policy work and emphasizing  interlinkages between the SDGs under in-depth review in 2019 and SDG2. Follow the discussions on the process here

In 2019 the High Level Panel of Experts is expected to deliver its report to CFS on Agroecological approaches and other innovations for sustainable agriculture and food systems that enhance food security and nutrition. Find out more on the HLPE website
