Our adoption department is always excited to hear that one of our waiting families is matched with a prospective birth mom or child to adopt. We were overjoyed when Craig and Camille were matched with a birth mom earlier this summer. Their daughter, Annesley Rose, surprised us all when she not only came into the world a month early, but also arrived from God with the condition of Down Syndrome. Here is what her proud parents have to say: "So many people keep telling us how lucky this little girl is. We prefer to use the quote, 'I'm not lucky; I'm blessed' as we feel blessed that God brought us together..." Upcoming Outreach
1. Nadia (Executive Director) will be at First Christian Church in Lansing, IL, on Sunday, Oct. 7th. She will be sharing in both Sunday School and during the message about how the Lord is using ICM to love and serve those in need.
2. On Sunday, Oct 14th, Dayna (Adoption Specialist) will be at "The Call" gathering, an orphan and foster care seminar taking place at Windsor Road Christian Church. Dayna will be there to answer questions regarding adoptions and make folks aware of the services available through ICM's adoption department. Nadia will also be at this event talking about ways we can support those who choose to foster and adopt.
3. On Sunday, Oct 21st, Nadia (Executive Director) will be at the Christian Church of Manteno in Manteno, IL. She will be sharing in both the Sunday School hour and the during the service about the work of ICM.
