In our last newsletter, we asked for young professionals in Kenya to apply for with TAHMO. This resulted in 15 new interns who will support the TAHMO school2school and business development in Kenya.
We would like to highlight two schools as the winners of the S2S September Challenge. Namanga Mixed Secondary School and Kibisi Secondary school have been exceptional in their efforts.
TAHMO received two small business development grants
TAHMO has received two small business development grants under the SBIR program of the Netherlands government. The first grant concerns the development of an agronomic advice service for potato farmers in Rwanda.
The second project concerns a warning system for the onset of the rainy season in West Africa, particularly in Ghana’s northern regions.
