Happy Latinx Heritage Month!

Celebrate Latinx Heritage Month by attending this month's activities! Voz Latina will host a Latino Family Picnic and Celebration this Saturday, Oct. 13 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Cosmo Park! Join us for music, dancing and food. See below for more details.

City Hall Display- All Month
Voz Latina has organized a display at Columbia City Hall to show some of Latin America's heritage, including typical clothing, art, crafts and other objects. See the beautiful display of pride in our heritage Sept. 15- Oct 15. at 701 E Broadway.

LatinX Heritage at Mizzou Display
Learn about the University of Missouri’s Latinx leaders of the past, present and future at a display in the Student Center’s first floor, next to the hallway to The Shack.

Witness for Peace - Midwest Region
Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. to hear from Fermina Zarate Domínguez, an Indigenous Mixteca farmer from Oaxaca, Mexico!

We Stand with DREAMers!
As Congress continues to debate the future for DACA recipients and DREAMers, stay up to date and take action by following some of the national organizations leading the advocacy efforts. See Voz Latina's statement on DACA for more resources: http://eepurl.com/c2CJin
