IRISH STORYTELLER NIALL DE BÚRCA BRINGS TO HONOLULU
TALL TALES AND IRISH LEGENDS
Honolulu – University of Hawai‘i Presents (UH Presents) brings back Irish storyteller Niall de Búrca to UH Manoa on November 24, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the (venue TBC). Tickets for the performance are available for purchase online at outreach.hawaii.edu/community/ or by phone at 808-956-8246.
Direct from Dublin, Niall de Búrca transports audiences to places near and far with traditional stories inspired by legends from the Emerald Isle. His interpretations provide a unique perspective to an ancient tradition, and he is passionate about inspiring young people through live performances and workshops. Niall is featured at many festivals, including the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee; the Hans Christian Anderson Museum in Odense, Denmark; the National Childrenʻs Book Festival, and the C.S. Lewis Festival.
Young and old are invited to Mānoa to lose themselves in Niallʻs many animated tales that are funny, serious, wise, and interactive…all at once!
