Rural Transport Convention

Manifesto for Rural Scotland – chance to update


Graphic showing a range of issues affecting rural communitiesThe Manifesto which guides the work of Scottish Rural Action was agreed at the Scottish Rural Parliament in Breichan.  The SRP this year offers a chance for changes to be made to this document. To do this you have to submit a motion.  You can find out what is already in the manifesto, and how to go about writing and submitting a motion by clicking here. The deadline for submitting a motion is the 21st of October.

Post Brexit policy - workshops across rural Scotland

It's important that we represent the views and needs of people across rural Scotland.

Could you be a Director of SRA?


The election of directors for SRA takes place this year at our AGM at the Scottish Rural Parliament. The election process for directors is different this year, and candidates for the election need to submit a short application by the 12th October. Directors are looking for specific skills and keen to check the suitability of candidates, including references, before they are put forward to the membership for approval or election. Find out how to apply by clicking here.
