FRESHMAN WELCOME WEEK
The week of September 24-29 was filled with fun, challenges, games, and food. Freshmen and seniors continued the tradition of creating the handprint banner that hangs on the wall for the entire year. Freshmen also learned about civility and how to incorporate those lessons in their lives. Welcome to the MPS family, class of 2022!

SUDAN WATER PROJECT
A group of students from the class of 2019 have joined together to raise money to build a well in South Sudan. Their goal is to raise $5,000 and donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Funds will be donated to the organization, Water for South Sudan, started by Salva Dut in 2003. His goal was to transform and sustain the quality of life for people in South Sudan by raising money to drill wells, providing the citizens with clean drinking water. If you would like to donate, please contact Mrs. Hannah Tatar or Morgan Schnars ’19. We are selling reusable water bottles and hosting the Great Pumpkin 5k on October 27. We will post updates on MPS social media, and donations will be accepted until the end of 2018. Sign up: mpslakers.com/southsudan5k.
