Author Talk: Jabeen Akhtar
Wednesday, October 24 | 7 pm
Jabeen Akhtar is the author of the novel Welcome to Americastan, a finalist in the 15th Annual Library of Virginia Literary Awards, and is a frequent contributor to the LA Review of Books. In 2018, she was featured in PEN America's The M Word Stories. Come listen to her discuss her writing and the theme of her recent work, which focuses on the myth of the exceptional immigrant.

2)   Winter blankets for babies to adults
3)   Hoodies, jeans, gloves, all sizes

Clear your record of fines while donating food to local community organizations providing aid to families in the FC area. Each non-perishable grocery item covers the fine for a single overdue library item! (Does not include bills for lost or damaged materials.) Sean Gaskell Plays the Kora

Free concert for all ages! 

Stop in to the library to hear Sean Gaskell play the kora, or West African harp.  All ages are welcome to attend and learn about the music and culture of West Africa while enjoying this unique performance.

Harry Potter Party
