Sustainable Food Systems – Weekly Update – September 26, 2018
We are so grateful for all of the positive attention that our Sow It Forward: Vertical Garden Program has been receiving. We have been meeting with the schools to devise a plan for garden implementation, and have been ironing out the logistics of creating a garden team. It’s all coming together and we can’t wait to get food-growing education into classrooms!
We also just welcomed on two new project coordinators for our Farmers Markets For All project, Christina Schmitt and Safia Malow! They are two truly passionate individuals who are already working hard to get this project moving.
To hear more about our growing Food Systems team and what they are up to, or if to learn how you can help, please join our Food Systems Monthly Meeting Thursday, September 27 from 6-7 pm at the Churchill in downtown Phoenix: 901 N 1st St, Phoenix, AZ 85004
