LIT DROPS AND BLOCK WALKS

Apartment complexes are huge untapped strongholds of Democratic supporters. This weekend we will be doing what are called "lit drops" at several large apartment complexes in the area. A lit drop simply means you drop off literature at every door in a complex. There is no direct voter contact, so you won't have to knock on doors or ring doorbells--it's great for those of you who are a bit more introverted and are uncomfortable talking to voters face to face. We will be putting two door hangers on every door in the complex--one for voter registration, and one for our new club door hangers. That's it! It is super easy, but takes a lot of people to get to every door in some of the bigger complexes. So get your comfortable shoes on and join us!
We also have a few random turfs that need to be cleaned up from several precincts. It's going to be a busy weekend!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR HUGE VOTER CONTACT EFFORT IN GALLERIA AREA

Sharpstown Democrats member and president of Indivisible Houston Daniel Cohen has done so much for the community and has been a big help to our GOTV efforts in Sharpstown. As such, we want to return the favor and help with a very ambitious effort in this Galleria-area precinct. There are several huge apartment complexes in his precinct that have never been touched, and this could have a huge impact on this November's election--especially in flipping Congressional District 7--if we can encourage these people to vote. Come join the growing army of volunteers and candidates so that we can knock on 1000 doors.
