BlockParty is a tool built on Ethereum for organizing events. It requires attendees to pay a small deposit using ETH to secure their place, and deposits will be reimbursed to those who attend. Check out the first BlockParty meetup here in NYC: "This is a casual meetup to connect the crypto community in NYC. It's not sponsored and it's just about socializing and discussing interesting stuff. RULE 1: Show up before 6.30pm in order to not to loose your deposit. Blockchains for Schools is city-wide mentorship program that's organizing a once-a-month event in Manhattan for NYC high schoolers to learn about blockchain. They're looking for crypto and blockchain mentors and speakers who work in the industry. Sessions are 11am-12:30pm from September through May.
