Join us as we share the voices for acceptance, inclusion, awareness, employment, and equality from around the world!

IN THIS ISSUE:

Wired and Vogue writer Lisa Wood Shapiro returns to discuss how technology is helping people with dyslexia; author Donna Levin talks about being an autism mom; Tiffany Sunday questions the need for celebrities to spread dyslexia awareness; Naome Soleil, Ph.D. explores the traits and behaviors of narcissists and scapegoats; autism self-advocate and writer Kate Ross looks at gender socialization; Julia Martensson & Alan Kriss of Specialisterne present a guide for employers to support workers on the spectrum; previous Exploring Different Brains guests (including Prof. Bankole Johnson, Jeff Emmerson, Dr. Steven Ronik, Dr. Chris Stout) highlight the need for ending mental health stigma; and much more!

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER, HACKIE REITMAN, M.D.:

I just wanted to give a brief shout-out to the brilliant Ken Dychtwald, Ph.D. for coming to the DifferentBrains.org office, meeting and inspiring our neurodiverse interns, and filming an upcoming episode of Exploring Different Brains! The interview represents a reunion between two friends after half a century, and finds our paths now intersecting at the brain: Ken just happens to be at the vanguard of the efforts to cure Alzheimer's disease.

Through his company Age Wave, Ken and his accomplished team are challenging the greatest minds today to take on the task of ending the epidemic of dementia, while helping all of us understand both the positive value of aging, as well as the importance of maintaining the health of our bodies and our brains.

So from the entire Different Brains team, thanks to Ken Dychtwald, Ph.D. for all he is doing, and look for his episode in the near future!
