This month our bourbons are the Heritage distilleries and the food will be a little bit more traditional but still with plenty of flavor.  Addie's Chef Brian Lanier gets to play and really showcase his culinary skills on these dinners and guests will be treated to fun information and tips from Bourbon industry insiders from Distilled Living throughout the meal.



October "Bourbon U" @ The Kentucky Castle

Dive deep into details you won’t typically learn on the distillery tours & come join us each month for a different bourbon experience only available at the Kentucky Castle. 

Last month we talked about the big distillers, now let’s concentrate on the little ones! For this month, we’re exploring the craft distilleries in Kentucky. We’re limiting to just the ones that are making their own products, so specific product availability will vary across dates this month. ⬅

We’ll taste a representative Bourbon from each distillery and dissect the flavor profile to understand the choices the distillers make for grain recipe/mash bill, yeast strain, distillation, barrel char and entry proof and aging.

This class is the tenth in our year-long “Bourbon University” with a new theme offered each month. ➡ No need to attend them all - mix and match as you like!

$35 per person, class includes guided bourbon flight and light food. Dinner reservations at Castle Farm Restaurant are available for after the class.

We've had to mix things up a little bit for October based on room availability so this month instead of Wednesday events we have a Sunday, Monday and a Tuesday:
October 21 (Sunday): 3pm-4:30pm
October 23 (Tuesday): 6pm-7:30pm
October 29 (Monday): 6pm-7:30pm
