We are excited to learn more about the power of storytelling with Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas.

Jeret "Speedy" Peterson used his time in the media to shine a spotlight on the challenges he faced, especially with depression, and did his best to offer hope to others.

Storytelling offers ownership and power, it also offers insight into the struggle that some might not understand. Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas knows first hand the challenges and stigma we face with suicide prevention and mental health. At the heart of all social movements are stories. Change is possible when we share our stories.

An accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment was the missing piece in Speedy's story. This conference also offers tools for therapists and health providers to be able to treat. If you fill this role, please consider taking CAMS-care. We are happy to host you.
