About the AOA Retreat
The AGM is incorporated into a weekend of activities to share ideas, collaborate and progress orienteering together in our province. The club's leaders and volunteers are invited to participate for the whole weekend of activities or even if you can only join us for some of the Saturday highlights, it would be very valuable. We need your input and feedback for next year's planning.

The retreat includes accommodation, meals and is open to all 2018 AOA members at no cost.  Deadline to register is October 27th.
For detailed schedule and registration please visit our website.

Exciting News:
This year the outstanding keynote speaker is Vicki Harber. Don't miss this opportunity to experience her motivating session filled with knowledge, wisdom and have a chance to ask questions to connect Orienteering with the broader Alberta sport environment.

Vicki Harber is Professor Emeritus at the University of Alberta from the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport & Recreation. She contributes to Canada’s Sport for Life scene by advancing physical literacy, long-term athlete development and quality sport across Canada. In 2011 and 2012, Vicki was honoured by CAAWS  as one of the Most Influential Women in Sport and Physical Activity.  Experience from 2 Olympic rowing teams combined with her academic life underlies her desire to build effective connections between high-performance sport and the scientific literature.
