Sausage Biscuits
The Formation Team will be offering sausage biscuits (and plain biscuits) for sale to raise funds for the annual St. Luke's Christmas Dinner. They will be offered this Sunday, October 14th and will cost $3.00. Your support is greatly appreciated!
Peace and Global Witness Offering
This offering encourages us to embrace reconciling God's mission with those around the corner and around the world, as active peacemakers - at all times in all ways. SGPC keeps 25%, the mid councils keep 25% and 50% goes to the Presbyterian Mission Agency.

2018 Race for Grace 5K is Just Around the Corner
The annual Race for Grace 5K is Saturday, November 3, at 9am. There are paper registration forms in the narthex or go to raceforgrace.org to sign up online. There will be music, kid's activities, inflatables, good food and, of course, lots of fun!
Christmas Greenery
The youth group will once again sell greenery from the Rainforest to Rainforest Alliance. Each purchase made through this program contributes to the Maya Biosphere Reserve -a reserve protecting 5 million acres of tropical rainforest in Petén, Guatemala and the communities of hard working families that call this area home. There are order forms in the narthex.
Flu Shots
We will be unable to offer flu shots at Shady Grove this Fall; the agency we used is no longer providing this service. Other agencies investigated do not accept Medicare or Insurance. I recommend pharmacies or your family doctor. I will try to re-establish this next year. Do get the flu vaccine! Janet Bartosch, Parish Nurse
