Friends of the Library Bookstore Sales
Friends' Bookstore, Main Library

A special sale of new and gently used children's and teen books. The sale includes holiday, picture, board, classic and antiquarian books. Proceeds from this sale support Summer Reading for children and teens.

A semi-annual sale of outstanding donations featuring a selection of books for $5 and up. Offerings: new fiction, graphic novels, art, biography, cookbooks, signed books, first editions, and coffee table books. Proceeds from the sale support a rich array of ongoing programming at all Library branches.

Learn how to make your website donor-ready, improve your donation pages, choose the right donor platform, create powerful email fundraising campaigns, promote monthly giving, use social media techniques to grow your email list, and invest in digital advertising to raise money online. Santa Monica Public Library is a member of the Funding Information Network and provides free access to the Foundation Center's databases of foundation and corporate grantmakers for individuals and nonprofit organizations.
