Last Month

George Sinos gave overviews of making your own DCC command station from an Arduino, and making a Raspberry Pi based computer for hosting JMRI.  Click here to download a copy of the slides.  This is an unlisted link, save it if you would like to use it in the future.

Ricky Keil turned this bag of sticks......

...into this nice flat car load.

Bob Rogge moved to a new house so he could expand his layout.

Here are a few photos with the newly added extensions.

New Fun Stuff this month -

Ricky showed us a great lumber load kit from Out West Lumber Loads.  Unfortunately, it's out of production.  Here's a video review that shows a kit from Owl Mountain being assembled by Dan Cortopassi.  Dan assembles and weathers two versions of the kit.

Have you ever wondered how the Kate Shelley bridge got its name?  Here's a short video from the Smithsonian channel that tells the story

See you next time, gs
