This Sunday, we will begin a series on the Book of Exodus that will take us all the way to Advent. This is an ancient, rich, and complex story that follows the Israelite’s journey out of slavery in Egypt, into the wilderness, and on to the promised land, all under the leadership of Moses. While this story is familiar to many Christians, we believe we will find new insight and messages as we dig into these historic tales.
For a good quick overview through the first part of the Exodus story, check out the video below:

All the youth and their leaders thank you for a successful Rummage Sale 2018. Not just in terms of fundraising, but just as much in terms of relationships, energy and time. You made it successful and fun! You donated, you sorted, you shelved, you organized, you brought goodies, you picked up furniture, you shopped, you cashiered, you packed, you loaded and unloaded the truck, you stayed until it was done and more. (The picture above is just the clean-up crew. Volunteers were here all week from 9am – 9pm!)
We asked and you provided abundantly. We will clear $9,000, plus the Nelsonville Church and Goodwill each received a truck full. It was a wonderful sale for our youth and the community. We thank God for all His blessings in you.
