LEE OSKAR HARMONICAS FEATURED ARTIST MARTIN CHEMES JOINS ARGENTINE ARTISTS IN A NEW PLAYING FOR CHANGE VIDEO

We are thrilled to share this beautiful video, “El Amanecer” (Dawn), created and presented by Playing For Change—Diamante, featuring Lee Oskar Harmonicas Featured Artist Martin Chemes of Rosario, Argentina, along with many other Argentine artists.

As we’ve previously reported, Martin enthusiastically supports our ongoing collaboration with Playing for Change, which is a global organization that aims to create positive change through music and music education around the world.

Earlier this year, Martin made a return visit to the Playing for Change Foundation’s (PFCF) Music School in Diamante, Argentina, where he taught a harmonica workshop for appreciative schoolchildren who greatly enjoyed “finding the music that lives inside” with their Lee Oskar harmonicas.  These passionate, music-loving students were first introduced to harmonica playing in late 2017, when Lee Oskar Harmonicas donated harps to the school and Martin presented an introductory harmonica workshop for this PFCF music education program.

We love sharing the joy of harmonica with people all over the world!

We LOVE hearing from our global community about your musical adventures and explorations with Lee Oskar Harmonicas!

We believe Lee Oskar harps are meant to be enjoyed by all, for a lifetime of music! So we created a special campaign known as  “For All/For Life,” which is based on the idea that Lee Oskar Harmonicas are ideal for musicians of all kinds, levels, genres and styles, as well as for people of all ages, stages and walks of life.

Here’s what Jef G. from Oregon shared with us recently:

“All it took was a few seconds of playing on a Lee Oskar harp to know that I had found 'the sound' that I had been looking for! The first thing I noticed, because of my background in mechanical engineering drafting, was the closer tolerances on the Lee Oskar harp.

Your harps are so perfectly balanced tonally... oh man. I listened to a recording I made with a little 2-minute 'ramble' on it... it sounded so good! The articulation is really quick. I was almost accidentally discovering new 'phrases'.

There is a difference when you work with that precise of a product. Ten-thousandths (0.0000) is like a watchmaker's world. I'm glad that I have the background to appreciate that. Keep up the good work! “

We appreciate hearing stories like this. What’s your Lee Oskar Harmonicas story? Tell us your story!  answerdesk@leeoskar.com
