Logo Launch Party
Thank you to all who joined in our logo launch activities over the weekend of September 28-30! Click here to view more event images.
We have updated our logo to reflect The Club's renewal and transformation as it undergoes redevelopment. The refreshed logo retains attributes from our previous logos.
The eagle remains a focal point to stay true to our core American identity
Its left-turned head and downward-curving wings denote goodwill and harmony
Its stylized motif embodies strength, confidence and dignity
The shield on the eagle’s chest bears the TAC monogram – a reference used by our Members and staff to represent The Club externally – making it an ownable mark that is unique to our club
The logo’s design embodies the 4 attributes of our brand persona, which were identified by our Branding Committee as: Bold, Inclusive, Vibrant and Positive
Our brand mark is now simplified so that it can be reproduced more easily and consistently on Club collateral and merchandise – a key way in which we spread brand awareness
We welcome all Members to join us at our next Redevelopment Information Session on Thursday, November 1, 7:00 p.m. at The Youth Zone. This session will focus on governance and finance related to the redevelopment.
The Club’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 14, providing eligible voting Members with the opportunity to vote six Members onto the General Committee. Members may vote (1) in person at the AGM, (2) by absentee ballot, or (3) by email / e-vote (invitation only).
Please note that The Club will be sending a test e-vote to all eligible Members on Tuesday, October 16, via the principal Member email addresses contained in our records. The subject of the email is “The American Club – AGM e-Vote Test”.
Voting Members who do not receive this test email by October 16 are encouraged, before October 30, to:
Ensure their email address in our records is valid and updated (email vanessal@amclub.org.sg or update via our club website – Member Login)
Ensure push e-mail is enabled on your smart device if accessing emails by mobile phone
The official AGM e-Vote will be sent to voting Members on Tuesday, October 30.
