Cape Town Water Crisis

Cape Town Water Update

Cape Town’s dams are collectively nearly 76% full and water restrictions have been relaxed.  Cape Town hotels, lodges, guests houses and accommodation establishments have confirmed that while water saving initiatives put in place during the drought are still in place, this has not in any way adversely affected the guest experience.

Amongst other actions, continued initiatives include notices encouraging water saving, water pressure restrictors on taps, recycling of grey water and encouraging shorter showers.  The guest experience remains a top priority and every effort will continue to be made to ensure this is not compromised while at the same time remaining mindful of careful water usage.
