Walk & Wheel Success
A big thank you to all the students and parents who participated in Walk & Wheel to School Week!  We had almost 800 active trips to school during the week with the most (186) on Friday!

Thanks to:
  • All of the awesome parent volunteers for their help with the daily prize draws and our celebration station on Friday.
  • Our sponsors who provided draw prizes including the City of Victoria (who also provided the great 'active ankle bracelets' for riding/walking at night), Oak Bay Mayor Nils Jensen and Fairfield Bike Shop and our sponsors who provided food and drinks for our celebration station on Friday including Starbucks in Fairfield Plaza, Thrifty Foods and Mount Royal Bagels.
  • The Capital Regional District for encouraging all Victoria schools to participate in Walk & Wheel to School Week and for providing the great tracking poster!
Let's keep up our active travel through to Bike to School Week in the spring!
