On Wednesday, October 17th, residents of Macon will gather around tables all over our city to share conversations. What do you love about Macon? What are our problems? What are our strengths? What inspires you? What worries you? The purpose of this effort -- highly successful in other cities -- is to create the opportunity for meaningful mealtime conversations about how to make our community safer, stronger, and more dynamic.
We have more than 1500 seats available at tables across Bibb County all through the day on October 17th. Table leaders are trained and have prompts to lead diverse groups through conversations. The tables are organized by time of day, location and topics! It is easy to find your seat and sign up.
