Join Mark Phillips of Berkshire Ferments to learn how to make your own sauerkraut! Discover how you can turn ordinary cabbage into delicious, tangy, preserved dishes. Sauerkrauts can add a new depth of flavor to your sandwich, schnitzels, and hot dogs. Berkshire Ferments is a collective of fermentation enthusiasts dedicated to preserving ancient traditions and building a resilient culture. Their aim is to inspire our communities by educating and celebrating the broad world of fermented foods.
The Berkshire Museum is open Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm,
and Sunday, noon to 5 pm.
Regular admission is $13 adult, $6 child, and free for children 3 and under.
Museum members and EBT cardholders enjoy free regular admission year-round.
