Election Day is just around the corner. Make sure you are able to vote by checking if your voter registration is up to date. You can also request an advance mail ballot by filling out this form and sending it to the Johnson County Election Office. Remember the deadline to register to vote is next Tuesday, October 16th. 

Below I have highlighted some of the recent events I have attended as your state senator. 
At the Blue Valley Education Foundation breakfast with Rep. Melissa Rooker and Rep. Jan Kessinger. Many talented students performed for the meeting. A panel discussion also took place which focused on suicide prevention for students. 

Senate District 11 Resources:
Rep. Patty Markley, Rep. Jan Kessinger, and I attended the Reveal the Vision Open House, where citizens shared their vision for the future of Overland Park. A large crowd attended this community event to share input and ideas for the future of our community.
Rep. Jan Kessinger and I participated in the fundraiser, Moonshine on the Farm, at the Deanna Rose Farmstead. 
Affinis Corp hosted a meet and greet for Rep. Melissa Rooker with Johnson County engineering business leaders. Here I am giving an update on the transportation task force.
