Join us in celebrating International Day of the Girl!

When girls are educated and earn an income instead of being married off, they are more likely to reinvest in their families and communities and become drivers of development. Thank you for helping us send more than 100 girls to high school this year!

The environment in which we serve, Zambia-specific statistics:

• 60% of 19 year old  girls have begun bearing children
• 32% of 15-19 year old girls experience physical and sexual violence, this rate increases to 46% for women aged 20-24 years.
• 27% of females in rural areas have no access to institutional education compared to 18% of males.

We offer hope to break away from these statistics, providing girls a life of their choice. Our program is seeing incredible results, 98% of girls who enter our program finish secondary school, avoiding teen marriage and early pregnancy!
