The September meeting of the ARMA Puget Sound Chapter meeting was a blast... we started a bit earlier than usual for a fun social hour, followed by dinner and an engaging 'elevator speech' workshop. A big 'thank you' to our volunteers who make these events happen, and to everyone who attended and offered your insights and enthusiasm.

Chapter meetings are open to all, whether or not you're a current member of ARMA. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events!

Speaking of which... our next program is coming up quickly on Wednesday, Oct. 10 in Tacoma. Check out the details below and be sure to register ASAP!

The oversight of mobile devices is complex, and while device usage policies appear to recognize and embrace the economies of the bring-yourown-device (BYOD) trend, the sheer number of different carriers, hardware and mobile operating systems IT teams are responsible for managing erodes confidence in records capture accuracy, and in their ability to locate and produce records generated on mobile devices.

Our speaker, Matt Dreese, is an Enterprise Account Executive for Smarsh out of Portland, Oregon, with extensive experience working with local, state and federal agencies throughout the Western United States.
