Festival 2019 Update

Here’s a quick update on what happening in preparation for the 2019 Festival.
Preparations are well underway for the 2019 SRP National Festival, to be hosted by the Durham and Newcastle branches in the spectacular Victorian gothic buildings of Ushaw College, just outside Durham.
Alongside a full schedule of group playing sessions, and a new commission from Rosemary Robinson for massed playing, the festival programme includes a number of exciting new initiatives, including the finals of the SRP Composers' competition, fringe performances by young professional players, including Charlotte Barbour-Condini, Sophie Westbrooke, Daniel Swani & Tom Ridout. Festival guests include BLOCK4, Jonathan Dove, Joris van Goethem, and Piers Adams, with an opening night concert by Red Priest.
