Can you imagine riding a bike for 2 hours to get to your nearest medical clinic? For some people in Uganda, that is exactly what they have to do. We currently have 3 small clinics we partner with in Uganda and we have begun building a new one by the lake. Land has been purchased, toilets have been built and building supplies have begun to be gathered. To continue the work Gary and Chris set out on a charity ride from Adelaide to raise funds for the building. They both made it to Alice Springs and then unfortunately Chris had to pull out, Gary decided to ride solo the rest of way to Darwin. He made the trip and ended up riding 3,300kms to raise support for our Bumeru clinic. We are so grateful to God for keeping both men safe as they rode and for the money already raised. We are currently taking enrollments for a spiritual retreat and discipleship tour into Jordan and Israel for 3 weeks in May 2019. Beginning in Jordan we make a pilgrimage through the desert before arriving in the Promised Land where we then retrace the steps of Jesus life and ministry, As we travel we will be learning about the Bible, creating a sensory understanding of the Jewish culture, Biblical times and the life of Christ. Bethlehem, Nazareth, Jericho, Masada, the Sea of Galilee, Mt Beatitudes, Mount of Olives, Jerusalem, Garden Tomb, and the Dead Sea are just some of the places we will visit.
