The regions of Umbria, Vienna and Scotland were awarded ShineBright Recognition Awards for their commitment to AER core priorities, during the Plenaries in Vojvodina
AER Black Sea Summit takes place in Odessa, Ukraine

The 7th AER Black Sea Summit focused on the link between the Danube and the Black Sea and the opportunities the region offers for peace and prosperity in Europe
Outreach
  • The AER Project Unit met with JEF (Young European Federalists) to discuss their upcoming collaboration on engaging young people ahead of the 2019 European Elections, in the framework of the funded project 'European Youth Together: Road to the Future'.
  • Mathieu Mori, AER Secretary General, discussed issues of concern to European regions during a roundtable in the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
  • Thomas Andersson, AER Ambassador to the Council of Europe, participated in the Bureau meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.
  • Mathieu Mori, AER Secretary General, met with Grand Est (FR) Region Architecture, an organisation gathering all actors of the architectural world in the region. A plan to create an association of architectural professions in the regions of Europe has been presented. Further information will follow in the coming weeks.
